Dave Hepworth is a true Renaissance Man. An auto mechanic, ordained minister, pianist, author, recording engineer, pastor, writer, husband, and father, he is an intelligent and shining example for Jesus Christ.
Dave Hepworth was born in 1959, to a poor family of gardeners. While their income was small, the family held a firm belief in Jesus Christ, and that kept everyone strong.
Dave started practicing playing piano when he was very young. While many other family members played the guitar, he continued to play the piano. Little did he know what an asset that skill would have in his life.
He later enrolled in Prairie Bible Institute, a (then) small Bible college in Canada. It was there where he met the woman who would later become his wife.
After receiving a bachelor's degree at Prairie Bible Institute, he and his wife Sheri moved to Michigan, USA. Dave was then ordained as a minister, and was a pastor in churches for many years. Dave started writing his own music twenty years ago. Using only a small inexpensive keyboard purchased from a retail store, he played the first few notes in a new era of his life.
In 2000, he enrolled in the Recording Institute of Detroit, where he received a diploma in musical mixing. He released his first album The Journey in 1999. Comprised of years of work, he blessed many with his songs. He has now completed his second album, entitled Committed. This album boasts better sound quality, and entirely new and original music and lyrics by the artist.
What separates Dave Hepworth from all other artists is his commitment to the Biblical scriptures, instead of 'fitting in'. His music will move you!
